How To Pack & Mail Your Photographs (important)
Our Packing Recomendations (important)
- Use a cardboard box and make sure it is strong enough for the contents. Do not use plastic containers as they tend to break, a sturdy cardboard box absorbs impact much better.
- Put you photos into a sealed plastic bag and put it into the cardboard box (mark your return address on the plastic bag) or put your cardboard box into a plastic mailing bag. (this will avoid any moisture damage)
- Fill the empty space in the cardboard box with bubble-wrap, screwed up paper, or polystyrene chips, to prevent your originals from moving around during shipping. Do not use shredded paper as cushioning material, as it is inherently dusty and only offers minimal protection.
- make sure to write a return address on the box and the bag.
- Include your order number or place a print out of your order inside your cardboard box or envelope.
- Seal box securely with tape along all openings and edges.
- Use a ‘FRAGILE’ sticker, if necessary.
- Small orders – use a board backed envelope or padded envolope, again seal in a plastic mailing bag to avoid moisture during shipping.

We use DPD to ship almost all of our boxs. We therefore recommend them highly.
The post office is our other option and would recommend their special delivery service.
