Photo scanning process
All you have to do is mail off your photos and we do the rest. more info
Step 1
send us your pictures
Mail your pictures to us.
Our collection service is available within our local area.
Step 2
scan original picture
Your original picture is scanned and we produce 3 digital copies of your picture. An exact copy, enhanced copy, and notes on the back. (see steps 3 to 5)
Step 3
exact copy
Your digital picture will appear almost exactly as it looks on the paper photograph
Step 4
enhanced copy
USB Photo Scan provides an enhanced copy of the old picture. (see below for examples).
Step 5
notes on the back
If there is any markings on the back we will take a scan of them. e.g names, dates, and any other notes.
Step 6
we send you a download link
This allows you to download your images to any device and is sent to you via email and/or text message.
Step 7
usb stick
We transfer all your images on to a USB Stick. The stick varies in size “depending on your order”. You can select a larger storage option at checkout, so that you can add extra photos to it at a later date yourself.
Step 8
return originals and digital copies
We post your origional photos back to you. We can hand deliver directly within our local area.
